Flow Swiss is one of the leading cloud providers in Switzerland: founded in 2009, still run by its founders, with customers ranging from Spotify and Deloitte to ALDI. The brand's promise fits into three words: "committed to simplicity".

The cloud market is shaped by a few global providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. Flow counters with what a Swiss provider does best: data exclusively in Switzerland, independence without outside investors, and people you know. Yet a cloud is anything but simple, and the website has to prove the opposite. In 2021 the new onboarding and corporate website is built at Geyst AG, in the corporate design Geyst developed for Flow. With one special twist: Flow is also the hosting partner through which Geyst runs its own clients' sites. So the agency builds the site of the very provider on whose servers its own projects run.

• Onboarding and corporate website • About six months, 2021 to 2022 • Block library in REDAXO • Products, pricing, sign-up • Insights in English and German • Customer voices from ETH to Bitcoin Suisse • Built for the phone • Hosting, updates and operation

Simplicity sells

Compute, Kubernetes, App Engine, Object Storage, Mac Bare Metal, CI Engine: Flow's portfolio is as technical as its names. So the website keeps the brand promise right in the navigation, where only products, pricing and sign-up sit at the top. The products run as a calm band across the home page, one after the other, with a sentence instead of a list of specifications, with the customers' names below. A discreet sales path leads to "Start now" and to the sales team. Anyone looking for a cloud should understand in seconds what they are getting.

Built to grow with them

A cloud provider keeps bringing new products to market, and none of them should need a relaunch. So the site consists of a library of blocks, built to Flow's specifications: product pages, a pricing overview, insights with Flow's own articles, a look into the console and voices of customers such as ETH Zürich, Serafe and Bitcoin Suisse, in English and German. New content is a new block, not a new website. Documentation and platform status have pages of their own, so the website never turns into a manual.

Not letting up until everything flows

After the launch the work continues in the opposite direction: cutting, condensing, simplifying. At the same time Geyst looks after the hosting that also runs its own clients' sites, with updates, database maintenance and backups. Bojan Jovanovic, co-founder and managing partner of Flow, sums up the collaboration like this: "The more effortless something looks, the more work often lies behind it. We are delighted to have found a partner in Geyst who, like us, does not let up until everything flows."

Simple, every day

flow.swiss is online, with Flow a member of the Sonio Group since 2024, and remains the clear entry point to Flow's portfolio: pared back, understandable, resilient. Building a website for the provider on whose servers your own projects run means seeing every day how seriously stability is taken. That is exactly what shaped this site.

Was ein Envoy tut.

Ein Envoy kennt Menschen mit einem Problem, das Software lösen kann, und bringt sie mit uns zusammen. Mehr nicht: kein Verkauf, keine Technik, keine Verträge.

Wir bauen, was sich andere nicht trauen.
