DD Moto: "A life without a motorcycle is possible. But pointless." With this sentence Dominic Donati's motorcycle workshop in Gontenschwil greets its visitors, and it says more than any price list. Service, conversions, racetrack and new bikes, all under one roof, all with heart.

In the motorcycle trade, big dealers advertise their brands, discounts and showrooms. A one-person workshop wins its customers differently: through trust, word of mouth and the feeling that someone here works on bikes with passion. In 2026 Orbit designs a bilingual web presence for DD Moto that makes exactly this tangible: what is made in Gontenschwil, the bikes for sale with their prices, and the shortest route to an enquiry, one tap and WhatsApp opens. Plus one condition that shapes everything: the owner must be able to update everything himself, without an agency in between, in German and English.

• Home, services, vehicles, gallery, contact • German and English • WhatsApp instead of a form • New bikes with prices • Gallery from his own workshop • Admin area for one person • Texts side by side in two languages • Built for the phone

One person, one sentence

The opening screen shows not an offer but an attitude. Below it is the owner's first name, with the WhatsApp button right next to it. The second section says why: "Anyone who loves what they do never has to work again." A sentence like that only works if it comes from the person who runs the business, and that is exactly how the whole site is written, in the first person, on first-name terms and without industry clichés.

What I can do

The services range from brake callipers to new bikes, and the site sorts them into four areas. Service and repair range from the annual service to an engine overhaul. Conversions and finishing cover rims, lettering, paintwork and wrapping. For the racetrack, the workshop prepares machines to each track's rules and looks after them afterwards. The fourth area is the sale of new motorcycles, plus a bike check at a fixed price and the workshop's own maintenance products.

Your next machine

The new bikes from Zontes, SWM and Colove appear as cards with make, model, displacement, power, weight and price. One badge shows which 125 cc bikes can be ridden from the age of 16, another what has been sold. Used bikes are deliberately not shown as a list, because the stock changes all the time: anyone looking for something specific gets in touch, and the owner keeps his eyes open.

Projects with heart

The gallery shows what is really made in Gontenschwil: a conversion on the lift, a tail section in progress, an engine in red, a sidecar on the grass and bikes from stock. No stock photos, only the workshop itself. And anyone who then wants to get in touch finds exactly two ways on the contact page: WhatsApp and phone.

Updates without an agency

The admin area is tailored to one person and saves every change instantly. Under Vehicles are models, prices, images and availability, and the order there is the order on the website. Under Texts, the German and English texts sit side by side, line by line. Phone, WhatsApp, address, Instagram and the price of the bike check are changed in one place and appear wherever they are needed. One click on "Publish" and the website is up to date.

A business, not a corporation

It would have been easy to make DD Moto look bigger than it is. The design shows one person, one place and one attitude, and promises nothing a one-man workshop cannot deliver. The workshop shares its address with his father's MD Garage, and both sites link to each other. DD Moto has not made a decision yet, and that is understandable: when the owner is the one standing in the workshop, the bikes come first. The design is finished, in German and English; the rest is a decision made in the workshop, not in front of a screen.
